The UIA World Congress of Architects is the world's leading architectural congress, organized every three years by the International Union of Architects (UIA). The 2026 edition, held in Barcelona, brought together more than 10,000 architects, researchers, and practitioners from over 130 countries to exchange ideas on the future of architecture and the built environment. We are proud to share that Mohamadreza Ghodousi, founder of ZAV Architects, was invited to speak at the UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 as part of the panel discussion "Support and Performance: Temporalities, Radical Collectives, and Political Infrastructures of Living." During the session, he presented ZAV's perspective on architecture as a process of experimentation and innovation—one that embraces uncertainty, responds to complex realities, and seeks new ways of shaping the relationship between people, space, and society. We are honored to see ZAV contributing to one of the most influential international conversations on architecture.
